Ios has always been a place that brings people together. This includes the small community of Ios that has been lucky enough to be born into this paradise. Iris Poussaiou, Ios born and bred, was enjoying her summer season working at Ios’ famous Greek Tapas bar when Australian romantic, Kieryn Moore’s heart became fixated on her. He would send Iris romantic messages and their loved blossomed into a burning passion. Soon after, Kieryn uprooted his life and moved 9000 miles to be with her in Italy. From then on, Iris knew she would one day marry this man. And that she did, twice! It was so important to be able to share their love with their nearest and dearest, so Iris planned an intimate wedding in Australia prior to their big Ios wedding the following year.

Iris had a clear vision for their Ios wedding, named by The Isle as the ‘BOHEMIAN GODDESS’. Iris’ only request was to have preserved botanicals, and thus The Isle designed a bouquet that will now last in their home for years to come. The Ceremony was located at the Odysseas Elytis Amphitheatre, one of the many options The Isle provides in their all-inclusive packages. The triangle arch was hired from The Isle’s ‘much-loved treasures’ and styled to create a bohemian aesthetic. Iris and Kieryn chose a relaxed style dining experience at Ios Club under The Isle’s festoon lights. Iris wore two dresses from a Greek designer found at Votsalo Concept Store and took the breath away from her new husband and her much loved family and friends. The entire celebration was captured perfectly by Greek Photographer and Videographer Aris Ziotopoulos.
